Loading ...I won’t lie, this photo is a touch self indulgent but I hope it has some merit. The shot was taken on the Inca Trail in Peru. We had just settled down for the evening when this incredible creature visited our camp. I have never seen speed and agility like it as it swooped from flower to flower collecting pollen. There was no time to frame or focus I simply grabbed my camera, swung and shot. Before I even had time to look at the photo the hummingbird had gone but through pure luck and expediency I had captured this photo. It remains a personal favourite even if it is not the greatest ever taken.
